Integrative Conservation Conference Session Organized by Brazilian Natural Resource Governance Initiative

Dr. Gregory Thaler and Dr. Don Nelson organized the conference session,Brazilian Natural Resource Governance: Towards an Integrative Approach,” for the 2020 Integrative Conservation Conference at the University of Georgia. Juliana Santiago (Tropical Conservation and Development Program, University of Florida) served as session discussant.

The session brought together scholars and practitioners from Brazilian and US institutions to discuss integrative approaches to Brazilian natural resource governance, emphasizing  transdisciplinary work that intersects research and practice. This session involved graduate students from:
